Karnak is the largest religious complex ever built, added to by pharaohs for 2,000 years. We walk it as a timeline: Middle Kingdom chapels, Hatshepsut’s obelisk, the forest of 134 columns in the Hypostyle Hall. Then we follow the Avenue of Sphinxes towards Luxor Temple and arrive just as it is lit up.
How I run this tour
- It is private: just you, your companions, me and a driver.
- The timings are a plan, not a schedule — we slow down wherever you want to.
- Questions are the point. Nothing is too basic or too nerdy.
“The stones are 4,500 years old. The stories should still feel alive.”

“We have done guided tours all over the world and this was the best. Perfectly timed to avoid the crowds — at one point we had a tomb completely to ourselves.”
“Excellent content and very well organised. Traffic on the way back was heavy, which no one can control, but the tour itself was superb.”
“Honest, funny and incredibly knowledgeable. He told us which add-on tickets were worth it and which weren’t, and never once took us to a shop we didn’t ask for.”
